Annie Mist Thorisdottir, from Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit athlete. She's the co-owner of Crossfit Reykjavik where she also instructs and trains. Annie is the only woman in history to have won at the CrossFit Games two times. In 2010, she placed 2nd. Annie Thorisdottir - an Icelander weightlifter, CrossFit athlete and a media celebrity - is a CrossFit athletes from Iceland. She is popular for being the first woman who won at the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. Winner at both the Dubai Fitness Competition 2013 and the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2017, Annie is well-known. Annie was born in and brought up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and siblings. When she was a kid she was an avid lover of exercise and sports. She took part in a variety of school competitions and was awarded a variety of medals. In 2009, she participated in the CrossFit Games in California where she performed relatively well in initial games. Annie Thorisdottir will be 31 by 2021. She's 5' 7 and weighs 67 kg. Annie started with her CrossFit journey in 2009, in California. The first time she competed, she was very successful and finished in the Top 10 out of 70. However, she didn't win a championship and concluded with a 11th-place finish in the event. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she placed in seconds place and won a silver medal in the same year. As a result of her impressive performances, she was able to take home the CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. Annie was again victorious at her place in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her outstanding performance. She was the first female athlete to win two CrossFit Games at once. She also received a medal of silver in 2014 and the bronze medal at CrossFit Games in 2021. Annie trains and coaches at Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. Annie has become a famous athlete following her recognition. She's worked with many sports brands like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Revolution Periodization Nuun Hydroxylysis Sidekick Yerbae, among others. There are a few thousand subscribers to her own Youtube Channel where training videos, travel vlogs and family videos are uploaded.
